Jocelyn Gould is a guitarist and vocalist based in Winnipeg, Canada. With a warm, round sound and lyrical improvisations, she is a versatile musician who excels in many genres, including jazz, r&b, and funk.

Jocelyn is the leader of her own self titled group in which she features her guitar playing as well as her vocal stylings. She is also one half of the duo Marienda, a collaboration with vocalist Joanna Majoko that performs original music as well as fresh takes on standards.

In addition to leading her own band, Jocelyn maintains a successful freelancing career playing with Winnipeg’s finest musicians. She can be seen playing with Steve Kirby’s Millenia, The Big Dig! Band, Fauxpasfunk, The Niall Bakkestad-Legare Septet, Sol James, and Rayannah, to name a few. She has been involved in the creation of several musical projects in Winnipeg including the local R&B group SoulStation and Franco-Manitobain trio collage-a-trois.

Jocelyn is active as a touring musician and has performed in venues across Canada and internationally with Rayannah, Sol James, Suzanne Kennelly, collage-a-trois, and the Chai Folk Ensemble.
